Thibidi Makes Global Debut at Cwieme Berlin 2025

Thibidi, a prominent manufacturer of distribution transformers in Vietnam, made its debut as a representative of the country's electrical equipment industry at Cwieme Berlin 2025. This event is one of the most significant global exhibitions for coil winding, transformer, electric motor, and mobile electronics manufacturing technology. Held at Messe Berlin, Germany, from June 3 to 5, it attracted over 800 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors from 36 countries. The exhibition served as a platform for sharing innovative ideas and modern technologies while fostering strategic connections that could shape the future of the global electrical industry.

Thibidi’s participation marked a major milestone for the company and highlighted the growing strength of Vietnam's electrical equipment sector on the international stage. The event provided an opportunity for Thibidi to showcase its high-quality transformer product lines, which are the result of nearly 50 years of research, innovation, and process optimization. These products meet rigorous international technical standards and are designed with efficiency, energy-saving, and environmental sustainability in mind—key attributes that are increasingly valued in developed markets.

The exhibition allowed Thibidi to connect with industry leaders, exchange expertise, and stay informed about the latest technological trends from major companies such as Siemens Energy, Thyssenkrupp, and McKinsey & Company. This experience helped the company define its strategic direction for technology transformation and production capacity enhancement.

Pham Thanh Nghi, General Director of Thibidi, emphasized that the event was not just an opportunity to introduce products but also a moment to place Thibidi in the global context. “Thibidi comes to Berlin not only as Vietnam’s No. 1 distribution transformer manufacturer but also as a representative of Vietnam’s industry, aiming to reach higher levels,” he said.

After 45 years of development, Thibidi has become one of Vietnam’s leading brands in distribution transformers. Its "Made in Vietnam" products are now present in more than 20 countries. The company operates a modern production system in Dong Nai, southern Vietnam, supported by a skilled workforce and strict quality control processes aligned with international standards. This has enabled Thibidi to build a strong reputation in Southeast Asia and now target markets with higher technical requirements, such as Europe and North America.

Under the guidance of GELEX Group Joint Stock Company, Thibidi is undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation in 2025. The company is investing heavily in artificial intelligence, big data, and automation to optimize operations, improve product quality, and enhance responsiveness to customer demands in the digital age.

Cwieme Berlin 2025 represents a key milestone in Thibidi’s long-term strategy to become an internationally recognized transformer brand and establish a presence in the global supply chain. The company’s approach is characterized by steady progress, driven by its capabilities, methodical strategy, and determination to bring Vietnamese ingenuity to some of the world’s most demanding markets.
